I have a 3 year old Disco Sport Landmark and a month after the warranty has run out my screen has just stopped working (typical!). The radio came on when I started the car but went off about 30 seconds later and when I looked up the screen was black and my phone had stopped charging from the main USB in the centre storage box.

Hello Rachel 25, My advice is contact Land Rover assist and trading standards, balance shaft problems are a KNOWN fault, new engines do not seem to solve the problem either, if you have the car on finance contact them and tell them the car is Not fit for purpose and you wish to reject it! could they advise as you are not prepared to pay for a sub standard vehicle.

The issue with the SD card not being readable is likely an issue with your computer as the sat nav system can obviously read it. Check the card is clean, the correct way around etc. Finally, with the map updated software, the "update" option checks for any new files for your current maps.
