Update: let the battery die again and sit for a few days, Yesterday decided to give it a try again and now everything is working great. The only issue I have now is the battery drain is extremely high. Took it off the charger yesterday morning at 4 and was at 10% at 5 yesterday afternoon.

Gear and Gear Fit. I have had my watch and charger for over a year now. It is the charger that came with the watch. This morning I noticed my watch was a little warm when I took it off the charger, but didn't think much of it. About 4 hours later I noticed the charger smelled like an electrical fire. I recently bought a new gear S3 frontier and it worked flawless. However, the battery does not charge up to 100% anymore. I put it on charge before going to bed when it was at 69%. I woke up 7 hours later and it had charged to 86%. I'm using the original cable and charger so I don't know what the problem could be.
While it’s still sitting on the charging dock, press and hold the Power key for 8 seconds or more.
